Welcome to Aykut Space
Welcome to Aykut Space, a bridge between the worlds of structures engineering and the universe. This site will show the interrelationship between engineering and science and how the exploration of the cosmos would not be possible without the structures and mechanisms engineers who make it all happen. The site has been divided into two main areas: libraries and resources.
In the libraries portion of the site, I have put together lists of various books and articles, some historic in nature, that I feel provide a broad overview of the variety of topics found in both structures and mechanisms engineering and space science. These lists are not intended to be all-encompassing reference sources for either of these vast subjects but only to provide a starting point from which to further explore. I have also attempted to point out the historic or landmark nature of an article after listing it as a reference.
In the resources portion of the site, I have provided additional lists of educational or unique sites on the various topics that were covered in the libraries portion. I have made an effort to list a number of lectures, presented in either printed or video form, to provide a more in-depth understanding of specific topics.
